Dr. Dawson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from the University of Georgia. She earned her medical degree from Mercer University. She completed her psychiatry residency and fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia. She is double board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She is available for psychiatric evaluations of individuals ages five and older for mental health and substance abuse concerns. She enjoys working with patients and their families to develop customized plans for treatment.
