We require a $150 deposit for all initial visits at the time of scheduling your first appointment with us. This fee is non-refundable unless you cancel within 2-Business days prior to your appointment.
Do you take insurance?
We do not accept insurance. However, we do accept HSA and FSA cards as payment for sessions, and St. Simons Psychiatry is considered an out-of-network provider, which means your insurance company may reimburse a portion of your costs if you file a claim yourself. We are happy to provide you with receipts or a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company.
We know it can be frustrating trying to find a practice who accepts insurance. We choose not to for very important reasons, primarily because most insurance companies tend to only focus on medical outcomes, requiring a label that permanently diagnoses individuals, often unnecessarily and sometimes dishonestly.
